  • The first thing we did was to cut the onion into quarters.
  • The second step was to separate each of the quarters into segments.We did this because we wanted to see the onion in the microscope.

  • Then we had to using a pair of forceps for remove the thin inner-skin.
  • Next we using a dissection needleds,carefully place the speciment flat on your slide.

  • After that we separeted each of the quarters into segments, because we needed even smaller piece of onion.
  • The third thing we did was to use a scalpel, put off a small piece of the onion. Because we wanted only inner-skin.
  • The fourth thing we didwas to use a pair of forceppess, and remove the thin inner-skin. Because we needed only inner-skin for the experiment.
  • The fivth thing we did was dissection needels, carefully place the speciment flat on your slide. We did this to avoid pockets of air.
